It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Support Raising Time!

What a crazy several months it’s been since I started working for Adventures in Missions.

The dust is still settling from our insanely busy summer here in the short term department of Adventures in Missions as we already begin to prepare for next year. I can hardly believe the amount of work that we have packed into these past few months. We’ve sent out over 2,500 participants on short term trips all over the world.

In June I had the privilege of leading a family trip to Appalachia. It was so exciting and fun to see people from 7 to 64 years old serve God together. In July I led a small youth trip to the Dominican Republic and it was one of the most impacting ministry experiences I’ve ever been a part of.

?
?Appalachia – This is the home of a local woman suffering from a laundry list of health problems. When we first visited, she had a huge hole in her floor covered by plywood and underneath her home was totally flooded. Her friend brought us over to see if we could help with some stuff he couldn’t do. He has a prosthetic leg and is suffering from terminal cancer and yet spends his time helping people in the community. My team was able to help out around her property and I was able to send a team later in the summer that fixed her floor. You can read more about the work that we do in Appalachia here.

?Dominican Republic – This is the team that I took to the DR. Young world changers, most of them who had never been out of the country before. They encountered poverty, hardship, culture shock (and cockroaches) in a way they never had before yet embraced the people of the DR wholeheartedly and stepped into everything God had for them that week. You can read more about it here

These trips were such an amazing reminder to me of why I do what I do. I get to send out teams like this all over the world, teams that bless our hosts and enable them to do what they do. Teams that while they are blessing the local people are also impacted in life changing ways.

I am so excited for next summer. We are sending even more trips and I am already busy talking to people and getting them signed up. However, to keep working for Adventures, I need to raise around $1700 by September 30. Please take a moment to pray for me and that God will provide for this financial responsibility.

I would be so excited and thankful if you would take part in my current fundraiser. I am currently raffling off an original piece of artwork. Every donor will be entered into the raffle and anyone who commits to being a monthly donor will receive a print copy. Any amount is awesome. Every $2 donated = 1 minute of work. I just have $1700 left to go! All you need to do is send me an email letting me know how much you would like to contribute. Donations can be made here.

If you are unable to donate but would like to support me, please be in prayer for me to raise these funds and share with anyone who might be interested.

Thank you so much to everyone who has prayed for me, supported me and encouraged me throughout the years. You guys are amazing and I’m so thankful to have you in my life. Please let me know how I can be praying for you as my heart is to develop meaningful relationships that really further what God is doing in our lives and in the Kingdom.

All my love!
