A New Adventure with Adventures!

Hello Dear Friends!

I hope this finds you well and enjoying the spring weather. It has definitely turned warm and green here in Georgia. It’s already getting into the 70’s and I am starting to worry that I will melt during my first Georgia summer!

I want to thank you for how you have been a part of my story in the past and for choosing to stay connected and interested in my life simply by being willing to read this. I’ll try my best to catch you up to speed! As I’m sure you remember, in 2012 I did a program with Adventures in Missions called the World Race. We partnered with 11 different ministries in 11 months around the world and saw God work in such incredible ways. After that year I attended a program called G42 Leadership Academy in Spain. This was the most growth filled time of my life, every day walking deeper into my identity and potential.

After Spain, I moved to Asheville, NC where I worked hard to pay off my student loans, which I did in about 13 months. In January of this year I moved to Gainesville, GA, the headquarters of Adventures in Missions. I have just come on staff with them and I am thrilled to work for an organization that I believe in so strongly. I will be working in the short term mission department to mobilize teams and individuals as they apply and prepare for their trips.

For the first time in my life I have a job that allows me to do what I love – listen to and support people, enable them to discover their passions and bring together people from different cultures and walks of life to build the Kingdom. What the world truly needs is people who are willing to discovering who they were created to be and that is what Adventures in Missions is all about. While I am helping others to step outside of their comfort zone and grow, I will also be doing the same.

Part of my new job is to find people to partner financially with Adventures in Missions. As you may guess, support raising is not the most fun thing in the world. Yet as I have had time to think and pray about it, I have actually become quite excited about how support raising gives me the chance to build relationships. I have been blessed with the time and resources to connect deeply with people through this process. While I am asking you to pray and consider donating financially to what Adventures and Missions is doing around the world, I even more want to hear about your life and how I can pray for and bless you, creating a partnership, large or small, for the Kingdom.

If you would like more information about Adventures in Missions, my job and how you can be a part of what we are doing, simply click the link to the homepage to the left. I am responsible to raise around $500 per month which would be achieved easily by just 10 people committing to donate $50 a month. I truly look forward to hearing from you and would be thrilled to answer any questions, talk to you more about the work I will be doing and to be able to bless and pray for you. God Bless!
